Hello geographers!
Hopefully everyone has had a splendid first month of summer, and a special shout-out goes to all our newly graduated geographers this week! Congratulations!

Here's a quick tidbit for those who are interested:

i) Are you interested in urban agriculture and have a few hours to volunteer? Natalie Kaiser, one of our former masters students, is now working for Comité Saint-Urbain/Urbaniterre and is looking for a student to volunteer a couple hours of their time to help out with a mapping/sketching project. The project she is developing is to install therapeutic gardens in senior centers, rehab centers, and other social housing developments. They have a site to work with, but it requires a little garden sketching to make some before/after garden maps for funding proposals. Natalie is looking for a student with GIS/autocad/photoshop/hand-drawing skills interested in urban agriculture. If you're interested you can contact her directly at natalie.c.kaiser@gmail.com
