See the Event Page for more details

2.GM Meeting no. 2 // De-stress event

Join Mugs next Thursday at 6:00 - 8:00 in the lounge to hangout, catchup and chat. We have merged our general members meeting with our de-stress event. We'll give you guys a quick update on where things are at in the Geography department and hold space to hear what you guys have to say and take any ideas, comments or suggestions. For the de-stress portion we will do board games and colouring pages with some hot cocoa and snacks. Afterwards we will all go to BDP on Parc for our second Pints, Lines and Polygons event. This event is open to any majors or minors in geography.

See the Event Page for more details

3. MUGS is doing a GIVEAWAY

MUGS will be doing an awesome Instagram giveaway! 3 lucky winners will be awarded a stylish and cozy Geography tuque. Head over to our Instagram page for more details. Leo approves.

4.Lounge Maintenance Notice

We all love the lounge, but we love it more when it's clean. Sadly, the lounge is in need of a deep clean so we will have to put the lounge out of service for Monday and Tuesday to re arrange and restore the lounge. We understand that this is an inconvenience. In the future, if you see someone mistreating the lounge space do not hesitate to give them a friendly reminder to be respectful. We don't like having to put the lounge out of service so please keep this in mind for the future. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Golden Rules of the Lounge:

  1. Microwave your food with a lid on and clean up after yourself.
  2. If you are keeping food in the fridge, please label it with your name and the date. Food in the fridge will be thrown out after a week if you do not collect it.
  3. Please clean the dishes you use in the lounge kitchen. The lounge is a communal space so please be mindful and respectful while using it.
The lounge will reopen on Wednesday and we will debut the new lounge at out GM meetings // Games night! You won't even recognize it.
