 THE MCGILL

 UNDERGRADUATE

 GEOGRAPHY

 SOCIETY

Hey Geographers! I'd like to take a moment this week to say "Thanks."... thanks to the McGill Geog alumni who get this listserv every Monday, deliberate unsubscribing, and ultimately don't.  Each week we get at least one exasperated email from an alumnus begging to be removed from our servers, and I can't help but wonder who compose the silent majority of these graduates? The ones skimming this email out of faint curiosity? The ones valiantly deleting as it comes in? The ones who set all MUGS correspondence as junk mail? Because we have no efficient way of removing alumni (and the unsubscribe button does not work), this week is dedicated to alums. You guys rock. Thank you.

 SUSTAINABILITY JOB

"Are you interested in sustainability, food systems, and putting your skills to use in a new and exciting setting? Then you should definitely apply to this exciting job opportunity! This is a great way to get some experience outside of academia before graduating, as the position can be done alongside your schooling. If you have any questions about the position, the time commitment, or just what the work environment's like, you can reach out to Amelia Peres (MUGS-alum) at amelia.peres@compass-canada.com"
