CAREGIVERS CREATE: A STORY-MAKING CAFE WHEN: Thursday, February 15 @ 11:30-1:30 PM WHERE: SSMU (Madeleine Parent Room)
"Last year, Café Collab and the McGill Family Care Program used fairy tale stories by student parents to identify how student services can better support them. This year we want to expand the conversation campus-wide! We invite all parents and caregivers (students, staff, or faculty) to a relaxed lunchtime workshop to share experiences and ideas for how McGill can better accommodate family life. We will discuss barriers, challenges, and triumphs, and collectively create small storybooks about these experiences. We will use these books and ideas to prompt a follow-up discussion on March 1st. We want to hear what supports and services have been helpful, what gaps could be addressed, and how you envision the future of family care at McGill. Help us build the future! No art skills or experience required. Free childcare will be provided on site. Please RSVP through this form or see the Facebook event here.
