Hey geographers! It was great to see you all at Gerts last Thursday. Welcome back from the long weekend- I hope it was relaxing, fun, AND you got work done (but if you can pick two that's pretty good).  Here's the agenda:

  1. Apartment Crawl
  2. The Mentorship Program
  3. Apple Picking
  4. Workshops
  5. Mapathon

OPPORTUNITIES

ANNUAL APARTMENT CRAWL
Do you live in or close to the ghetto? Do you love to party? Can we use your house for the Geography Apartment Crawl? It's your time to shine. Shoot mcgillgeography@gmail.com an email if you are interested in including your house (in early November). We will be forever grateful!

GEOGRAPHY MENTORSHIP PROGRAM!
Looking to 'find your coordinates' for life after McGill? Confused about what to do with a geography degree? Want to get to know some of the great Masters and PhD students that are in the department?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the MUGS Mentorship Program is for you! Application forms are attached to this listserv, and hard copies can be found in the MUGS lounge (BH 305). Please submit forms to
geographymentorprogram@gmail.com or leave hard copies in the box in the lounge.
