The deadline to applying for these positions has been extended (to a date to be determined). To apply for these exciting positions and get more involved / just have a blast, fill out a nomination form, and drop it off in the 'London Tube map' tray in the MUGS lounge (BURN 305).
Here's a brief recap of what each position does:

4. Cool Thing of the Week In Paris almost two weeks after converting the right bank to a 'car-free' zone, the Urban space is already transforming and 'non-motorized habits' are emerging! Bien Joué Paris, you're making Jane Jacobs proud :') (~more pictures~)

5. Mildly Interesting Map of the Week So someone with a lot of time on their hands mapped out the U.S. by only using the 8 million miles of dirt trails, roads, and highways on good ol' QGIS. ...Also it looks pretty.

That's a wrap! Not too much to report this week, though we have many things in the works to announce in the near future! Also, email us if you want to promote any Geog related events/news. Stay awesome, and until next week :)
