We hope everyone had a wonderful (and hopefully restful) break! Check this out:

i) Reminder- the next Geospectives is tomorrow, Monday Feb 28th! One of our very own postdoctoral
fellows will regale us with tales of urban sprawl in "A Tale of Two Cities: Urban Sprawl in
Pordenone (Italy) and Edmonton (Canada)" presented by Dr. Federico Martellozzo, Dept. Geography

ii) Green Week is coming up!! March 8th, 9th, & 10th CaPS is hosting Green Week, open to any McGill
students looking into a career in the environment.

Vice Chair of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development
