Hello Geographers!

i) BEST DEPARTMENT: It is official Geography is the BEST DEPARTMENT. Geography has been announced the 'Best Department' by the Arts Undergraduate Society(AUS), and the 'Best Small Department' by the Science Undergraduate Society (SUS). Attached is the powerpoint slide we entered to win.

ii) Geography Photo Contest!! Voting for the annual photo contest at http://mugsannualphotocontest2010.blogspot.com/ is closing at 5pm TONIGHT, please take the time to vote :) The winner will be posted TONIGHT AT 6pm on the blog. We will announcing the winner tomorrow, April 21th at 12:30pm in the MUGS lounge alongside the prof of the year award -pizza will be provided. ALL ARE WELCOME.

iii) PROF. OF THE YEAR: The voting has closed and Lea Berrang-Ford has been voted the professor of the year. We will be holding a pizza party TOMORROW Wednesday, April 21st at 12:30pm in the MUGS lounge to congratulate our prof of the year. Take a study break and come enjoy some Pizza with MUGS.

iv) Clothing will be arriving late this week, or early next week. You will be notified by email when clothing arrives.
