2. Come to our Coffee & Cookies tomorrow at 12:30 p.m.
3. Early reminder: keep your shutters peeled for our annual photo contest

We're looking for a new MUGS U2 Representative for the current semester (Winter 2009) to replace the previous representative who is no longer at McGill. The position includes participating in the Undergraduate Affairs Committee to review changes to curriculum in addition to working with MUGS to help plan and execute events. In order to be eligible for this position you must be a U2 student pursuing any program in Geography (arts, science, minor major, honours, urban, GIS, etc). Ideally you would also be available to attend our weekly meetings 9:30-10:00 am every Monday. If you are not eligible at that time, still apply, just include your course schedule so we can reschedule the meeting time. Please email back with your name, program, year, previous/current organization or campus experience and a one paragraph statement explaining your motivation to work with MUGS in this position. Applications are due Sunday, January 25 before the end of the day.

Just as a reminder, coffee and cookies will be starting again as usual tomorrow (Monday) and every following Monday at 12:30 in the MUGS lounge (Burnside 305).

Last, if any of you want to flaunt your photography skills, our annual photo contest will be held this semester. The deadline is March 27, so you still have a lot of time to snap the perfect shot. We accept hard copies or digital submissions, and entries can be submitted at coffee and cookies or to mcgillgeography@gmail.com.
