CHINESE LANTERN FESTIVAL

MUGS is organizing a trip to the Chinese Lanterns Festival

at Montreal's Botanical Gardens!

Wednesday, October 25th

Meet at 6:30pm in the MUGS Lounge (3rd floor, Burnside)

The entrance fee should be less than $10, and remember to bring
money for the Metro.

COMPOSTING

MUGS has aquired a composting bin! Bring in your organic wastes,
and we will transfer them to Gorilla Composting on a weekly basis.
The bin is found in the MUGS Lounge on the 3rd floor of Burnside.

Most general food waste is accepted. Here's what is NOT accepted:

butter bones bread charcoal or coal ash cheese chicken diseased plants
dog and cat feces fish margarine mayonnaise meat milk oils pasta
peanut butter sour cream yogurt

WORK-STUDY OPPORTUNITY FOR SCIENCE STUDENTSVisual Archives
Development

Work Study Project n. 7060 has been approved at 100%
funding for Science Students. It involves numbering and scanning of
Geography slides landscape and geomorphology 35mm slides taken
over the past 50 years, in preparation for downloading to a data base
or website.

10 hours per week, $8.50 per hour, Autumn and Winter semester and
possibly Summer semester.
