Hey MUGSers,

Hope the end of your semester went well. We just have a few end-of-year announcements.

First, MUGS is proud to have received so many fantastic submissions this year, thanks to all who participated! Please take a moment to click on the link provided (http://mugsphotocontest.blogspot.com/) to look through the contest finalists and then VOTE by emailing the entry number of your single favorite to MUGS at mcgillgeography@gmail.com. Voting is open until Friday May 8th, 2009 at 5pm. Contestants are NOT eligible to vote. The winner will be announced on May 9th, 2009 on the official MUGS website and Listserv. DON'T DELAY, VOTE NOW!

Also, it's that time of year again...time for teacher of the year! All geography students (majors and minors) are encouraged to nominate one geography professor whom they believe to have made the greatest contribution to student life and learning. Email mcgillgeography@gmail.com to vote for your favorite geography professor. Your votes will be accepted until Friday May 8th, 2009. The winner of the Teacher of the Year Award will be announced on May 9th, 2009 on the official MUGS website and listserv. Below is a list of our wonderful faculty members:
