Hello geographers,

Ever wanted to conduct field research in East Africa (Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya? Ever wanted to sleep in a tent in the middle of the savannah with your professors just a couple tents away? Ever wanted to take McGill courses, with McGill professors in geography, biology, anthropology, natural history, nutrition, or history in the wildest of classrooms? The opportunity exists! Check out www.mcgill.ca/africa or come to an information session just for Geography students on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 5 PM in the MUGS lounge (Burnside 305).

On Sunday, March 15th, there is a teaching workshop for TAs. As undergraduate students, we are in direct contact with good and bad TAs; please give your feedback by taking this survey. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=gfcxx6QcIanD7nDn2LgPPA_3d_3d

Finally, attached is information about summer courses that will be given by Prof. Pollard. An information meeting will take place tomorrow (Thursday, March 12th) at 4:30 in Burnside 308. If interested, make sure to fill out the application and bring it to the meeting.
