Work Study Opportunity - Geography Website

As some of you might have seen, the Geog Dept website has undergone a major overhaul recently. As part of our work to maintain this initial burst of upgrading, the Dept is going to hire a Work Study student to work alongside me as an RA contining to develop the site further, initially in the winter semester. It would be great to have a geogrphy student involved with this. Therefore if you are eligible for Work Study, please consider this as a potential RA position. The Work Study official advertisement will be posted in early January I hope, for that semester. But I've pasted the general blurb below. Pay details etc will be on the official site. It will be advertised as a research position (unless they change the category themselves...)

Regards,

Job opportunity for graduating geography students

GeoRouting Technologies is looking for a geography student graduating
in December. The job involves making large quantities of maps for
navigation purposes. They are a small business with a long history in
the distribution industry. Later projects would include data collection
and manipulation. They are looking for a geographer's input to make
their business products more geographical efficient (speak to them for
more info). They are willing to look into buying whatever software or
hardware you think would help do the job better. The candidate must
have a good knowledge of GIS and map making. They are looking for some
one to start immediately.
